
BANGKOK, THAILAND – A milestone in Indonesian higher education has just been reached. Under the banner of the “International Collaboration Trip,” held from May 10–15, 2026, STKIP Citra Bakti proved itself to be an institution that is not only a regional powerhouse but also a significant player on the global stage.
As part of an elite delegation of 13 renowned Indonesian universities—totaling 70 participants—STKIP Citra Bakti’s presence in Bangkok serves as tangible proof of its commitment to becoming a World-Class Institution.
Grand Mission: AI for the Future of Education
A highlight of the journey was the International Community Service program held at the Indonesian School in Bangkok (SIB). Dek Ngurah Laba Laksana, a distinguished academic from STKIP Citra Bakti, delivered a captivating keynote presentation.
Speaking on the futuristic topic “AI for Improving Learning,” he explored how Artificial Intelligence is no longer just a tool but a primary catalyst for transforming educational quality in the digital age. His insights sparked extraordinary enthusiasm among educators and students alike.

Academic Diplomacy: Forging Partnerships with Thailand’s Academic Giants
STKIP Citra Bakti continues to aggressively expand its global footprint through several strategic milestones:
- Shinawatra University: The formal signing of an MoU was accompanied by a compelling research presentation titled “Local Wisdom in Natural Science Learning.” This session highlighted how indigenous knowledge can be integrated into modern scientific frameworks.
- Expansion Initiatives: The institution also engaged in high-level partnership talks with other top-tier Thai universities, including Kasetsart University, Krirk University, and Srinakarinwirot University.

Strengthening National Ties on International Soil
Beyond global expansion, STKIP Citra Bakti solidified its domestic network. National MoUs were signed with prestigious participating institutions, including Univ. Persada Indonesia Y.A.I (as the organizer/LPPM), Binus University, ITL Trisakti, Univ. Semarang, Univ. Serang Raya Banten, Politeknik Negeri Sambas, Univ. Trunojoyo Madura, Univ. Winaya Mukti, Sages Academy Surabaya, and Surabaya Pharmacy Academy.
Furthermore, a strategic partnership was established with Dinasty Publisher, an accredited national journal publisher, to ensure that the innovative research of faculty and students achieves wider academic recognition.
